Ambu CPD Training and Development FAQs: Everything You Need to Know

Yes, all of our Workshops and Modules ran by our Clinical Education Team are CPD Accredited. We have 3 main workshops currently on offer:

We also have a variety of single modules all 1 hour long equating to 1 CPD point. Depending on the structure of your day you can mix and match these to suit your educational needs.

Once attendees have completed their session, they will be emailed with a CPD Certificate of Achievement by Ambu.

Your local Territory Manager / Clinical Educator will be able to recommend what training session they believe is best suited to your needs, or you can read through our Training Prospectus and request a workshop / module of your choosing.

In order for our CPD Sessions to be accredited the attendees require a mixture of theory and hands-on practical skills. Because of this we don’t currently offer online training which is CPD Accredited. 

An airway day consists of hands-on practical skills without the addition of clinical theory and applications, because of this an airway day is not CPD Accredited. CPD training incorporates both the hands-on practical skills and the relevant clinical theory / applications of your topic, qualifying the session to be CPD Accredited.

All of our training sessions are free of charge. We will provide all the equipment needed for the day, as well as an appropriate level of staffing to help facilitate the hands-on practical sessions. 

All we need from yourself is to confirm which session you’d like to book, a start time, and the location of the training. For the training we politely request a seminar room with an external screen so we can showcase our presentation clearly. We will provide all the equipment needed for the day, as well as an appropriate level of staffing to help facilitate the hands-on practical sessions. 

To get the most out of your day and to ensure the practical sessions run smoothly we recommend 6 – 12 attendees for each session. If you are expecting more than 12 to attend please let your Clinical Educator know so we can request additional resources.
